RCA was born out of a dream of Dr. LaVerne Adams to help coaches to be successful after years of struggling herself to figure out what it takes. After decades of research, training and experience, she discovered that the game changer was skill based upon the ICF core competencies and is the foundation of this ICF Accredited program.

Dr. LaVerne Adams has been coaching for decades and understands the challenges, so she founded the Rich Coaches Academy out of a passion to support aspiring coaches or those who are struggling with their coaching skills & business. As a Certified Executive Coach, Certified Trauma Professional & Certified Diversity Executive, she makes sure that the RCA offers a well-rounded curriculum for today's coach with a personalized coach training process to help you become more confident & competent, in delivering incomparable coaching that produces transformational results for your clients so you can be a higher income earner, in high demand, and highly effective.

Claudia Humphrey, ICF ACC Dean of Students
Claudia was a participant in the first Rich Coaches Academy inaugural cohort and won the esteemed TOP COACH Award for her hard work and dedication. Claudia knew she was on the right path by getting educated and trained as a certified nonprofit compliance coach. With this training, Claudia can tune in and ask the right questions that help students to discover their path to their work as they navigate the course. Coupled with her years of experience in the non-profit world and her work in the healthcare industry as an international project manager and analyst, Claudia is positioned to make an indelible impact on the Rich Coaches Academy as well as communities globally. Claudia is the mother of two adult sons and a grandmother of seven.

Gail Whipple, ICF ACC, Instructor
A “creative” by profession, Gail now coaches others to create the life, relationship or career they’re called to. Working with our birthright of creativity and courage brings power and meaning to our lives and helps heal the planet at a time when it needs all beings to live to their potential.
Gail has been an ICF credentialed coach for 10 years. Additional credentials include a masters in the psychology of creativity, plus certification in change management and design thinking. She also has work experience in many realms including education, healthcare, civic service, advertising and broadcast media. She is currently working on a book about her elder brother: Born with a cognitive difference, his life exemplified courage in the face of adversity and creative possibilities made manifest. Being part of his journey gave Gail a lifetime of experience and belief in the transformational power inherent in every human being. An interesting fact about Gail - she has a Black Belt in To Shin Do.
